David enters (about 15 minutes late), and starts with one of the songs from his new album.  He has a group of dancers with him on this tour, that, frankly looked really dorky to me - but maybe that's what he wanted.  I found them more annoying than entertaining, but that didn't spoil the concert for me at all! He started with "Strange Overtones" from the new CD.

The crowd leaps to its feet when he plays "Houses In Motion" - including me, of course!

Only David Byrne could incorporate office swivel chairs into a song and dance. (the Raleigh Observer article directly above incorrectly says they're doing "Life Is Long" - *buzzer* wrong!) They were doing "One Fine Day" from the new CD. That was the one part in which I thought the dancers were necessary.

Back on our feet for "Once In A Lifetime" ("Same as it ever was") - we also jammed to other Talking Heads favorites, such as, "Life During Wartime" ("This ain't no party.."), and "The Great Curve"

First curtain call - we all shrieked until they came back out; including those in the "cheap seats"

Second curtain call - still screaming!

Easily the most bizarre part of the concert - they're doing "Burning Down The House" - in tutus!  I didn't even notice the tutus, until the lights came up. They then exited the stage as ballerinas would, with their arms waving about, while running on tip-toes.  David's such a nut - one of his many charms. Then the final curtain call.

Last song is the title tune of his latest CD: "Everything That Happens Will Happen Today"

Final bows, including shouting "Thank you!" up to the cheap seats. David seemed to be really flattered by our appreciation of his show.  He deserved every single scream. Best. Concert. Ever.
